I finished working out and relaxing for a bit. It feels great to get through a workout and see your growth. My strength is growing and I can see the shape of my body become more sculpted. Consistency is key and moderating what you eat depending on what you are going for.
But I really felt to talk about something I have been dealing with recently and have been looking into. It has to do with manipulation. I remember seeing a movie a long time ago called Memento. (I won't ruin it for you, so if you are interested, check it out.) But it led me to consider the importance of memory. Remembering details goes a long way and especially when it comes down to situations where you are confronted by someone who is manipulative. Upon further research into this subject, I realized that the descriptions mentioned described someone I know who is like that very much. One who disguises their interests as your own. One who has said something in the past, and say they said something else. Changing their stories when they see fit to have the advantage in a situation. Who try to fill you with guilt or shame over things that they are imposing upon you. That really have nothing to do with you. They just want to knit pick to find some way to have control over you. They act like you answer to them when you don't. Always dig your feet into the truth and don't waver. Speak your mind and don't let those types of people try to conquer the conversation or cause you to doubt your own thoughts and feelings. I read that manipulations is a deadly thing. So keep your eyes open out there. Those kind of people are the types that I keep my distance from. Remember you don't answer to them. They have no control over you. Resist them with your words and actions. If they begin to be unreasonable with their words and actions, walk away. Stay free from their snares. I hope this helps. Feel free to share your thoughts if you have dealt with this recently.
