✨8 weeks old ✨As a trainer I’m always saying to my clients, be kind to yourself.. don’t weigh yourself everyday. Applaud yourself with any fitness milestones, regardless of how big or small they are. It’s all about getting closer to the bigger picture 🙌
Every time I’ve had one of my children, I have had to become one of my clients.
I have to put in place what I’ve put in place for my clients. Setting targets regularly, doing measurements, fitness tests, training when I didn’t feel like it, covered in sweat in this hot weather and eat as clean as possible.
I put 15.5kg on with my third pregnancy.
My goal was to get in to a bikini comfortably between 6-8 weeks. Which is really unrealistic but I love a challenge and I’ve always been like that. To be honest I still feel like jelly haha which sounds familiar for most mums at this stage I’m sure.
But ... I’m almost at my starting weight.. just a couple of kilos away now. Why is this important? You have to set goals. To stay motivated, to stay focused, to continue to take care of yourself.
Once I get to that target, then I’m onto the next goal.
I want to hit the age of 42 better and stronger than ever. We are all human at the end of the day and you’d be surprised the people that put pressure on themselves behind closed doors. I see it in some clients that I’d never thought would feel that way about themselves. And yet to me and to many others I’m sure, they look amazing! So please don’t forget to applaud yourself for every milestone.. don’t forget it’s about trying and giving it your best shot. It’s the journey. None of us are perfect and we might not quite get there.. but you’re trying and When it comes to fitness it’s about looking back and thinking gosh .. did I really do all that?!
I felt shy to put this pic up even though this pic is really about embracing my new addition.. my son. Because all importantly thats our greatest achievements right there as mothers .. our children 🙌
Happy training Mumma’s! 🏋️♀️
