Chevrolet Corvette C1

The Chevrolet Corvette C1 Roadster is the first generation of the Chevrolet Corvette sports car, which was produced from 1953 to 1962. It was designed by Harley Earl and manufactured in Flint, Michigan. The C1 Roadster was a two-seater convertible with a fiberglass body, powered by a 235 cubic inch inline-six engine and three-speed manual transmission. It was also offered with a more powerful 283 cubic inch V8 engine in later years. The C1 Roadster was a pioneer in American sports car design, with its sleek and aerodynamic styling, and has since become an icon of American automotive history.
